I was drawn to Grand Rapids by the vibrant energy and sense of community. When visiting, everyone I met was remarkably proud to call Grand Rapids their home; it was apparent that these Grand Rapidians took care of their beloved city. In the fall of 2012, I set up roots and quickly found that same sense of pride instilled in myself. In 2013, I began working with JL Equity Group, LLC – rental company that had the same love for the city that I did. I was inspired by their dream of rejuvenating worn homes around downtown and renting them to my fellow Grand Rapidians. My role within the company grew rapidly as they came to recognize my tenacity and attention to detail. Before long I wore several hats: Project Manager, Leasing Manager, Property Manager and everything in-between. Soon after, I was approached by one of the top West Michigan Realtors, Lindsay Scully. Lindsay offered me the chance to become a licensed Real Estate Agent and join her team at RE/MAX of Grand Rapids; six weeks later I did just that. My experience with remodeling homes helped me hit the ground running, as I could confidently evaluate the condition of a home and diagnose any symptoms of needed repair. Houses are more than just a place to live, they are an experience, a life project, and a part of the family. I was immediately hooked after telling my first clients that their offer was accepted and hearing their excited screams as they realized they had finally found their first home. From that moment on, I endeavored to place a higher standard on what it means to be a leader in Real Estate, and I strive to provide the type of service that's the catalyst for that gut bursting, triumphant shout for every person I have the opportunity to work with By being an engaging, supportive and knowledgeable Realtor, I hope my clients will find more than just a realtor, but a friend.
